More stuff accomplished and level 74 attained
The holidays have taken me away from WoW—not that it is a bad thing to spend time with family and friends—but I have had an opportunity here and there to play a bit. I'll be busting my ass over the next few days to try and earn the Merrymaker title, since I'm only two achievements away.

GG Blizzard and a few other things
I've been helping family gear up for Christmas, and haven't been able to log in much the past few days, but I did get a few things in last night.
FYI - if you are Survival specced as a hunter, in order to earn the Fa-la-la-la-Ogri'la achievement you must untrain your talents. There is a bug that auto-dismounts you when you use the Holly, but only if you are Survival... and since I just respecced not too long ago, it took some coin. >:(

Thanks, Pope, for the morning's entertainment
Posted design work from my first semester
I finally got around to posting all of my projects from this past semester in a Facebook album. For those interested, point your browser over in this direction: link.
Then just click the message header "First Semester Graphic Design Projects". Sorry for any Facebook irritations.

Welcome back, Russ!
After Jeff, Ryan and I bagged another Feast of Winter Veil achievement, we went on to complete the first instance in Northrend. While Jeff was AFK at dinner, Ryan and I roamed around and did some dailies, then Russ logged in and sent a tell.
Budwhizzer has once again joined the ranks of Frequently Reported. To mark this event, we grabbed Jeff and did both LBRS and UBRS and got the Jenkins achievement, along with the completion achievements.

Then, Ryan and I hurdled ourselves off Scryer's Ledge, just for good measure.

While Mutable gets some rested XP back...
Mutable used up all of her blue experience on Thursday, so I decided to set her aside and let her bank some rested. In the meantime, I went on an Achievement flurry with Radd, grabbing a level on the way. I even "ZOMG RPed!" and did the Feast of Winter Veil chains.
I finally gave up fighting my spec and changed from Marksman to Survival (0/8/56). My burst damage is off the charts, and I think I'm going to really like this. From what I can see, Marks is going to be decent for raiding, but since I'm not following that content at the moment I decided to try out Survival for a while.
A huge thank you goes to Ryan for guiding me through Northrend. I hope his rogue enjoys the Borean Embrace I crafted as a thank you.

A power run, a blue drop, and many thanks to Marc
Still no armor drop, but I did get a Cruel Barb out of the 15 minute deal. Marc took a total of maybe 100 damage on Naddie as he rounded up every single mob in Deadmines. It was hilarity at its best. Note the circle of dead pirates when VanCleef bit the big one.

A good day to level and PvP for Mutable
Another Deadmine run; another failure at picking up the chestpiece. I did, however get another two levels on Mutable, as well as roflstomp a rogue outside of the Deadmines entrance.

Deadmines...
Yesterday, to break out of the quest-grind monotony, I took at shot at completing the Defias Leather with a Blackened Defias Armor from Van Cleef. Alas, it didn't drop, but I did score another achievement.

First semester grades are in
Mutable reaches a milestone... or two
At the gentle prodding of Marc, I logged into Mutable and ground out four levels in a few hours. Mutable caught a coupe of achievements on the way.

Epic find by Brad
Brad (aka, Trostnation - now retired from WoW and playing WAR like a nub) found the most epic Bush Shoe Incident parody. Enjoy!
RLS and the hidden benefits when you are a gamer
Restless Leg Syndrome - it keeps me up at night. I didn't think I would be so bored this soon after school let out. Oh well, three lowbie dungeons and three more achievements.

There's a new 72 in town
And it's me! Ryan drug my ass all over the place tonight, ensuring my ascension to level 72. We also ended up with some nice drops for DEs and a kick ass blue, Tome of Conjure Food VIII, which will be heading to the AH tomorrow.

Achievements are my new love
I logged in tonight after the bad ass season finale of Heroes and partied up with Jeff and Austin. After a brief pow wow, we took off for Eastern Plaguelands and rolled Stratholme like a wino after a three day bender.

Ding!
Many thanks to Jeff, JJ, Austin and Ryan for taking me into the first dungeon... We didn't clear (noob pally!) but it was a lot of fun!

Man, leveling sucks
But the Achievements rule! Ryan and I were leveling today with the help of Erick and came across a rafter of turkeys. Yes, I know that a group of turkeys is called a rafter. I've never denied being a geek—BACK OFF!

Shoutbox added
Now you comment spammers can talk about whatever makes your little hearts content and happy... most likely Marc's sex life, from judging previous comments.
This weekend
I finished my last final, yesterday, at 3:00 PM. I was completely shithammered by 8:00 PM and kept at it until 2:30 AM Friday. Needless to say, I was a hurting unit when I woke up this morning.
Tonight I am heading to a friend's place to wrap up a Fallout 3 game he and I have been playing. I'll be on WoW most of this weekend, though. I'll see y'all tomorrow!

Did Steve tell you that, per chance?... Steve.
Completely unrelated to World of Warcraft or school, nonetheless Flight of the Conchords are definitely worth checking out. Besides, anyone with a knowledge of my living arrangements will get an especially big LOL out of a particular segment.

Finals week status update
As reported, I'm in the finals week for my first semester at DMACC for Graphic Design. With two days down, I'm assured two A's already (Production Art I and Illustration I), and have a truly EZMode final in Communication Design I tomorrow.*
Today was only one class - Typography I - where we reviewed for the Big Ass Final (BAF). The format was fun: it was set up like a game show with correct answers being worth extra credit points on the BAF. I scored 23 points—the most in the class—and I'm already over 100% for my grade, anyway. That exam is Thursday, as is the due date for my hat project in Orientation to Graphic Design**, another class I'm acing.
With two projects to turn into Introduction to Desktop Publishing left on the docket, it appears I have less than three or four hours left of actual schoolwork, so I might be able to log in sooner than expected! Let's hope so - I'm already getting that familiar "WoW Jonesin'" back.

*UPDATE 12/10/08 - I just received confirmation that an A is in order for Communication Design I. GO ME!
**UPDATE 12/11/08 - I have confirmation on Aces in both Typography and Orientation. Desktop is most likely an A, as well, so I'm making at least the Dean's List, if not the President's List, for this semester.
Leave hunters alone, already...
MMO Champion highlighted a blue post in the WoW forums about upcoming huntard changes. I just finished speaking with Marc about how shitty MM was, and things look to get worse.
I guess I'll cookie cut and roll a BM.

Dear Jorn
Drop me an e-mail when you get a chance. BTW - stalking is far more effective if you don't out yourself right away.

AFK for most of this week - it's finals time at DMACC.
I was studying for finals all weekend, which explains my absence. I will probably not be logging in until this coming weekend becuase there's so many tests and more studying to do! I had a few minutes to spare this (late) evening and knew I was close to securing a few achievements on Radd, so I took care of business.

Fear not, I'll be leveling Mutable during my month-long winter vacation from school.

Level 10 - first honor kill
Ha! My first honor kill running through The Barrens. Stupid level 18 warriors...

My first night
I decided to call it a night after finishing about half of Dun Morogh. One of the things I noticed right away was a complete overhaul of many of the mobs' graphics. Surprisingly, lag issues I once had are also improved. Also, mobs drop WAY fast it seems, and experience points are definitely coming faster than 4 years ago.
I'm using a bare minimum of AddOns, too. Everything is—as it always has been—Ace (link on the right side bar), with the exception of GroupCalendar.
